Jamie McDonald is a new member of the Santa Clara Vanguard visual team. Jamie, a resident of Houston, Texas, works as a marching arts instructor nation wide. His prior teaching experience includes being a brass technician with the Boston Crusaders, a visual technician with The Crossmen and a band director at Seven Lakes HS (2020 – 2022) & Ola HS (2016 – 2019). Currently, he works as a marching arts clinician for various bands in the Houston area including Cyfair HS & Tomball Memorial HS.
Jamie holds a Bachelors of Science in Education & Music with a concentration in audio technology from Western Carolina University. As a performer Jamie was a member of Spirit of Atlanta (2012 – 2013) as well as The Cadets (2014 – 2015).
