Who We Are

The talented young adult performers of the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps (SCV), a program of Vanguard Music and Performing Arts (VMAPA), are among the most dedicated and skilled individuals in the world of marching arts. Comprising musicians, dancers, and color guard members typically aged 17 to 21, these performers undergo rigorous auditions and intensive training to earn their place in the corps.

Known for their precision, artistry, and emotional depth, they bring complex musical arrangements and innovative visual storytelling to life on the field. Their commitment to excellence and relentless pursuit of perfection reflect the elite standards of SCV, a World Class corps with a storied legacy in Drum Corps International (DCI). These young artists demonstrate extraordinary discipline, teamwork, and passion through months of physically demanding rehearsals and nationwide competitions.

Why Sponsor?

Concert in the Park is a fundraising event celebrating arts and culture in the City of Santa Clara, our hometown. For 59 years, we have empowered local performers through music education, leadership, and life-changing experiences. With multiple DCI World Championships and a strong alumni network, SCV proudly represents Santa Clara on the world stage. The concert attendees are made up of young adults and families, from the local community as well as visiting tourists. Your sponsorship goes towards scholarships and touring costs for our students, and helps us bring the arts to the City of Santa Clara. “Giving back through music and the arts is core to our mission.
