Aaron Barnes resides in San Antonio, TX. He began his marching career in DCA with the 2001 Reading Buccaneers and continued on at the DCI level marching with The Cadets in 2002 and 2003.
After aging out he moved on to teaching marching and movement skills at North Penn High School in Pennsylvania. He then served as the Visual Caption Manager at Claudia Taylor Johnson High School from 2010-2022. Aaron has also written drill for high school bands across the country
Aaron has worked with several World Class Drum & Bugle Corps including Jersey Surf and Boston Crusaders. He was on the educational staff at The Cadets where he helped contribute to a DCI World Championship and a John Brazale Best Visual Performance award, The Crossmen where he served as Caption Supervisor, and the Blue Stars where he served as Co-Caption Head.
