Jeff Lang hods a B.SC. degree in Accounting from Santa Clara University. He joined Ernst & Young, a global accounting and consulting firm, in 1986 and served as a partner in the firm from 1998 until his retirement in June 2025, During his tenure with Ernst & Young in San Jose, CA and Seattle, WA, he was the lead partner or partner-in-charge for a significant number of audit clinets in the firm’s technology practice, ranging from erly-stage start-ups to complex multinational companies, including Intel Corporation, Amazin.com Inc., and many others. In this roll, Jeff led diverse, multifuncional client service teams around the world and served an an advisor to audit committees and boards of directors. He has extensive experience in corporate governance, public company reporting, initial public offerings, and merger and acquisition transactions. From 2007 to 2010, Jeff also served as Semiconductor Industry Leader with Ernst and Young’s Global Technology Center. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Jeff played Baritone with SCV in 1983, 1984, and 1985. He and his wife Cathy (along with their yellow lab, Boca) split their time between San Jose and Truckee, CA, with frequent diversions to Napa as time permits. They have on grown daughter, Katie, who recently completed a distinguished academic career at UCLA and is pursuing her passion for music as a full-time flutist.
