Greg brings over 25 years of single- and multi-unit experience operating restaurants and cinema eateries across California and Oregon. He started as a server for Claim Jumper Restaurants in the late 1990s, where he discovered both his love for the industry and his deeper passion for helping others become their best selves. That passion led him from corporate trainer to management, and eventually to his first General Manager role at Claim Jumper. He went on to serve as GM and Area Director for companies including BJ’s Brewhouse, Bonefish Grill, Studio Movie Grill, and iPic Theaters.

Throughout his hospitality career, Greg has hired, managed, and developed thousands of hourly and salaried employees, and his passion for protecting the people in his charge never faded. In 2023, he returned to school to pursue a degree in HR Management, graduating magna cum laude from Colorado State University Global in 2024, then set out to find the right organization to join.

Music has always been part of Greg’s life, from teaching himself piano as a kid to playing bass in a metal band for 10 years. Joining an organization dedicated to enriching young people’s lives through music and the performing arts is a dream come true, and he’s thrilled to be part of the Vanguard family, protecting and enhancing the lives of those within it. Greg lives in Southern California with his wife of 23 years, their 2 kids, 3 cats, and a dog. He’s an avid whiskey enthusiast who enjoys metal concerts with his son and steering clear of horror movies with his daughter.
