Mindy Morton is a partner with Procopio and the head of Procopio’s trade secrets practice group. She focuses on intellectual property and internet litigation. Protecting online free speech is another passion of hers and she litigates cutting-edge cases at the intersection of technology and free speech issues.
She is the chair of the ABA Trade Secrets Committee in the Intellectual Property Section and is the Co-Chair, Sedona Conference on Remote Case Management of IP Proceedings and a member of the Steering Committee for the Sedona Conference Working Group 12 on Trade Secrets. She is also active in ChIPs and serves as the co-chair of its Mock Pitch Program. She is a former President of the Santa Clara County Bar Association, and she was recently honored with the SCCBA Diversity Award, recognizing her work advocating for and mentoring women attorneys. In 2016, she was named a Woman of Influence by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. Mindy has been singing since she could talk and is active in Schola Cantorum and co-directs the Lyric Theatre Victorian Carolers. Mindy last marched in a band in 1986, playing first clarinet for the Rye Junior High School Marching Band
