Kassie Gonzales is originally from El Paso, TX where she began her dance and color guard career at Americas High School. From there, she went on to march The Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps from 2009-2012. After aging out of DCI, Kassie continued her winter guard performance endeavors with Cypress Independent (Houston, TX) from 2013-2015 and CGT (Dallas, TX) for their 2018 and 2020 seasons.
In addition to her performing career, Kassie has had the privelege of sharing her passion and knowledge of the performing arts with several high schools in El Paso, Houston, and Dallas, TX, where she currently resides. Kassie has also had the honor of being on the educational staff as a color guard technician and horn line movement specialist for The Blue Stars, Phantom Regiment, and Carolina Crown.
Kassie is beyond thrilled for the opportunity to spend this summer teaching at Santa Clara Vanguard!
