George Brown

Ever since he joined the SCV Mellophone section in 1980, George has consistently dedicated much of his life to the Vanguard organization. He aged out in 1984, took a few years off, then returned on staff from 1988 through 1994. In 1995 George became Director of the Vanguard Cadets where his attention to detail and passion helped raise the corps to exceptional heights. For many years he worked tirelessly to improve the lives of the Cadet Corps members, both on and off the field. George also served as Tour Director of the A-Corps in the late 2000s and is a co-founding member of the Vanguard Alumni Association.
