Claire Heatherly is a musician and clinician with a deep commitment to the well-being of performing artists. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music from California State University, Fresno, where she focused on harp and marched sousaphone in the Bulldog Marching Band. Claire spent two seasons marching contra in DCIl, giving her firsthand insight into the physical demands of high-level performance.
She also completed a Master of Athletic Training at California State University, Fresno, where she combined her musical background with clinical education. Claire is especially interested in research on injury prevention and wellness in performing artists. She is an active member of the Performing Arts Athletic Trainer Society (PAATS) and the Performing Arts Medicine Association (PAMA), where she connects with others dedicated to advancing care in this specialized field.
Claire is working to build a more informed, supportive environment where performers can thrive both artistically and physically.
