Michael Wootten is a California-based filmmaker. He possesses a deep portfolio containing nearly a decade of media work in the marching arts with clients such as the Mandarins, Santa Clara Vanguard, Red Wave Indoor, Fresno State Bulldog Marching Band, and many high schools throughout California. Recently, a short documentary he produced for the Mandarins received Telly Awards for General Documentary and Cinematography. Outside the marching arts, Michael has worked with a variety of corporate and non-profit clients on a regional, national, and global scale.
Michael lives in Fresno, California with his family and is a video producer for the award-winning University Marketing and Communications department at Fresno State. Additionally, he is an accomplished percussionist, drum set player, and music arranger. He received a degree in Multimedia Production from Fresno State which he attended on scholarship to perform in the Bulldog Marching Band and Bulldog Beat.
