Laura Gasper

Laura Gasper began her color guard career at Carroll High School in 1998 and immediately fell in love with the activity. After Carroll, Laura marched Winter Guard at Crown Guard ’01, and Pride Of Cincinnati ’03,’04,’05. She started her drum corps career in 2000 at Carolina Crown and spent 6 years with the organization, serving as captain for the last two before aging out in 2005.
Once her time as a marching member had come to an end, Laura began working with a number of DCI and WGI ensembles. She has lent her skills to the guard staffs at Crossmen, Troopers, Madison Scouts, and Bluecoats before joining the Santa Clara team in 2014. Laura has worked with winter guards at many high schools, including Northview, Carmel, and currently West Broward High school. She has also served on the instructional staffs at Zydeco and Braddock Independent for many years.
Laura graduated with her degree in Studio Art-Ceramics from Herron School of Art and Design and is currently the Co-Owner of Gasper Arts Center in Florida. In her down time, when not working on color guard, Laura enjoys teaching ceramics classes, overseeing gallery shows, and drawing or sculpting her own work as well.
