Vanguard Music And Performing Arts Launches Innovative Education Program in Partnership with Oakland Unified School District
Oakland, CA — Vanguard Music And Performing Arts is proud to announce the initiation of an exciting new education program in collaboration with the Oakland Unified School District (OUSD). This new partnership aims to bring the transformative power of music education to students through the introduction of basic visual and musical marching techniques.
Starting January 2024, Vanguard Music And Performing Arts will be implementing this program with a drumline at Claremont Middle School in Oakland, California. The initiative seeks to enhance students’ musical abilities, foster teamwork, and instill discipline through the unique and dynamic experiences provided by marching and drumming.
