This year has challenged every aspect of our lives. In these moments, we lean on music, the arts, friends and family to give us solitude and find inspiration.
On behalf of all of us at VMAPA and the Board of Directors, we’re excited to invite all of you to our virtual holiday showcase called Home for the Holidays. This virtual fundraising event will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 5 PM PST.
About the Virtual Event
This holiday season, we are breaking through the physical barriers that separate us to bring our global community of musicians, artists, dancers and donors together.
We rely on our fundraising events to generate the revenue needed to continue Vanguard’s mission to inspire communities and enrich lives through education in the performing arts. Through this event, we are hoping to share our unique Vanguard culture, invite all to the table and raise funds to keep the organization going.
Our virtual event will include special holiday performances from our 2020 Santa Clara Vanguard and Vanguard Cadets and our favorite Vanguard shows across the decades selected through our alumni-driven team fundraising competition.

More about the Team Fundraising Competition
As part of the showcase, we are hosting a friendly team fundraising competition. The competition will run from Sunday, November 1 at 12 PM PST until Tuesday, December 1 at 7 PM PST.
Alumni teams are broken into decade teams and the team who raises the most amount of money by December 1 at 7 PM PST win their choice of a full length A Corps show and a full length B/Cadet Corps show from their decade to be featured in full on the virtual holiday event!
