Vanguard Winter Guard Will Continue Local Education

As we wish our best to the 2017 WGI performers this week,

Vanguard Music and Performing Arts will continue to grow its educational programs by enhancing workshop and clinic offerings for the 2017-2018 season. VMAPA will focus on widening these offerings to include more music, dance and winter guard opportunities to young performers in the Bay Area. The organization has set its course along a 3-year strategic plan to fulfill our mission to its fullest; To inspire communities and enrich lives by increasing opportunities for participation, education, and excellence in the performing arts.

The Santa Clara Vanguard Winter Guard will not be taking the floor in the 2018 season, however the program will continue to stay active in the California Winter Guard Community with more workshops, clinics, and educational opportunities. The Winter Guard program has created fantastic educators and performers in our California region, and we want to continue to serve their efforts in the expansion of excellence throughout the activity!

VMAPA would like to thank Denise Bonfiglio, Staff, and the SCVWG performers for their continued support and talents on and off the floor. As the organization continues down this course of revitalization, you will see more dance and equipment programs start to emerge locally, and the Santa Clara Vanguard Winter Guard will be back at WGI in the near future.

Best of luck to all performers at WGI this week. Believe!
