Our new series Vanguard Voices is a platform to highlight the voices and experiences of those who have come through the Vanguard organization! We share a collection of interviews from alumni crossing different generations, talking about their unique drum corps experiences.

To celebrate Women’s History Month, we dive into a conversation with the women of the Vanguard Cymbal Line. Historically, only four women have marched with the A-corps cymbals, and we have three of them right here! They share their different journeys into the line, how to train and how people reacted to them as women in a male-dominated space.
