Brandn Lindsey was introduced to music and the marching activity at a very early age.  His father spent time as a marching member of drum corps himself before he would go on to teach and direct corps.  Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, Brandn marched two years at Pioneer before heading out west to join the Vanguard organization.  He would march one year at the Vanguard Cadets and another five years at the Vanguard A-corps, aging out as the drum major in his eighth and final year marching.

Brandn became a member of the Vanguard Cadet’s visual staff in 2013, helping them to two championship seasons between then and 2016.  Back home, Brandn recently switched from his career in public accounting to a career teaching high school students accounting, business, and personal finance classes.  Since becoming a high school teacher, Brandn has been able to devote more of his time to writing drill and consulting with the visual programs of Milwaukee-area marching bands.  Brandn is excited about taking his experience and skill set to the Vanguard A-corps’ visual program for the 2017 season!
