Tom Chivers is a lifelong resident of California and the Bay Area.
In 1975, Tom attended his first drum corps show and has been a Santa Clara Vanguard fan ever since.
When his son, Jack, joined his High School marching band, Tom’s passion for photography was reignited. His role of “Band Dad” greatly expanded as Tom began to provide media coverage for any and all of the music department’s events. Jack was a member of the Vanguard Cadets from 2016-2018 then marched with the Vanguard in 2019. Tom photographed every event he could for friends and family of the Vanguard.
Tom still actively supports the local High School and has been the Music Department Historian for the past eight years.
