Ryan Hagood was born and raised in a small town south of Houston called Alvin, Texas with his identical twin brother, Brandon. Ryan will be attaining his Music Education degree from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky this year and as well as student teaching in the Fall 2022 semester. Ryan has worked and taught at several Texas High School band programs in Houston and Lubbock Texas where he has worked with local marching band programs as a music and visual instructor.
Ryan Hagood’s performance career includes time as a member of the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum & Bugle Corps from the 2016-2018 seasons, Ryan is beyond ecstatic to work this summer teaching with the Santa Clara Vanguard as a visual technician. He believes this will help him learn to grow as an educator through the marching arts, and looks forward to an outstanding and successful season along side collaborating with the Vanguard staff.
