Lizzie Perry

Lizzie is a Texas native and serves as an Assistant Band Director at Richland High School. Before this, she worked at Coppell High School and Wakeland High School.

Lizzie holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. She was a member of the Santa Clara Vanguard (2019-2021), serving as drum major for her final two seasons. This is her second season working on the admin team with Vanguard.

Lizzie also serves as the Secretary and co-chairperson of the DEI committee for the Vanguard Emerging Leaders and is a founding member of the organization. She holds professional affiliations with the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, and Tau Beta Sigma. Lizzie is delighted to serve Vanguard by continuing to share her passion for music, inclusivity, and equity, and contribute to the tradition of excellence.
