Kari has been involved with drum and bugle corps since 1990 with Blue Knights (1 year) Blue Devils (5 years), and Santa Clara Vanguard (1 year). He has taught with multiple groups beginning in 1997 through 2016 also 2021 and 2022 such as the Glassmen (music and visual), Cadets of Bergen County (visual), Carolina Crown (visual), Spirit of JSU (music), Madison Scouts, and the Blue Devils. Along with the many drum and bugle corps, Kari has instructed multiple marching bands across the United States of America (college and high school).
Kari has had the opportunity to learn from and teach with world renowned persons in different drum corps and marching ensembles such as George Zingali, Wayne Downey, Gino Cipriani, Steve Bentley, Marc Sylvester, Jeff Sacktig, Darryl Pemberton, Jon Bilby, Todd Ryan, Ken Karlin, Brian Peter, Errick Prince, Jeremy Hunt, Tim Darbonne, Jason Bentley, Jarrod Huntley, Cedric Solice, Michael Gaines, and many others. Kari is looking forward to being involved with Santa Clara Vanguard and the upcoming DCI season.
