Justin Curry is an emerging dancer, choreographer, technician, and educator based out of Houston, Texas. He is pursuing his Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Dance with a focus in performance and choreography from Sam Houston State University. Justin’s performance career includes: WhirlWind Dance Company 2021, Houston Fringe Festival 2021, Santa Clara Vanguard 2015 – 2019, CGT Dallas & Denton 2019 – 2020, Black Gold World 2017 – 2018, Somnium Independent 2015 – 2016.
Justin began his educational career in 2016. He has had the opportunity to choreograph and teach for various high school colorguard/dance organizations in Texas such as Vandegrift HS, Marcus HS, Tompkins HS, and many more. Justin has had the honor of presenting his choreographed dance works at Big Muddy Dance Company Screendance Festival, and Sam Houston State University. Justin strives to cultivate ownership of creative individualism and a sense of autonomy within his students and peers.
