Colby Clem

Colby is from Houston, Texas and currently resides in Buda, TX. He graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s in Marketing and currently works in solar sales and management in south Austin. While at UH, he was a member and section leader for mellophone at the Spirit of Houston and Cougar Brass ensembles. He also played french horn for 2 years in UH Symphonic Band. During school, he also taught high school marching band with Dickinson High School, Brazoswood High School and recently Hays High School.

Colby was a member of Guardians DBC from Houston, TX playing trumpet in 2017 and a member of the Santa Clara Vanguard from 2018 until 2021 playing mellophone.

Colby is thrilled to be a part of the Vanguard Visual team and is looking forward to another great season.
