Santa Clara, CA – Vanguard Music and Performing Arts (VMAPA) has announced Southwest Airlines® as the new Official Airline of VMAPA. Southwest has generously donated a select number of flights and is providing VMAPA with promotional support as they relaunch their performing arts programs and return to their national tour in 2022.
Each year, The Santa Clara Vanguard and The Vanguard Cadets, VMAPA’s flagship groups, perform for hundreds of thousands of fans across the country, combining elements of live music, pageantry, and storytelling into engaging and vibrant productions. Beginning with auditions in November, their performers embark on a transformative journey through which they perfect their craft and learn valuable life skills. The purpose of this program is to help young people, ages 13-21, achieve their fullest potential as performers and human beings, while enriching communities nation-wide through performing arts.
