SCV26 Brass Satellite Audition – Oklahoma

This audition is an individualized one-on-one audition experience. Review the following instructions for your individual audition time slot. The link to sign up for your time can be found in your email confirmation after you pay for this event.
During this audition, you should be prepared to perform the following (visual materials will be sent to you September 24th):
- Technical etude of your choice
- Lyrical etude of your choice
- Full range chromatic scale
- Dance audition
- Marching audition
- Campus Map and Parking: Below is a campus map for you to use to get to the school of music at the University of Oklahoma. Participants may park on the 2nd level or above in the Elm Avenue Parking Facility, immediately south of Catlett Music Center
- Address for Mobile Map Directions: 500 W Boyd St, Norman, OK 73019
- Check In and Warm Up: There is no check in upon arrival, please have everything required of you taken care of ahead of time (liability form, time slot selected, etc) so that you can get the most out of your audition time. You can arrive up to 30 minutes before your assigned audition time and warm up in the Orchestra Room (CMC124). You should begin making your way to the band hall for your audition (CMC116) five minutes before your scheduled time and await your turn
- Equipment: Equipment will NOT be provided for you by SCV or OU. Please plan to arrive with your own equipment
You should expect feedback and grades in the days following your audition.
- Contract! This is now your spot to lose, you must keep practicing and show that you have earned your spot at December Callback in North Texas
- Invitation to December Callback Camp
- Not this year, you will receive feedback for future growth
