At the center of every strong drum corps is a strong team of member leadership who serves the corps both on and off the field. As a liaison between performers and staff, this team of veteran members takes on additional responsibility, puts in the extra effort to lead by example, and sets a standard for the entire group. We are proud to announce our 2018 Santa Clara Vanguard Color Guard Leadership Team: Megan Smith and Cheslee Morgan!
“This year’s color guard is full of incredibly talented and passionate performers, and I am so excited to have both our captains from the 2017 season returning to the leadership team,” said Daniel Riley, SCV Color Guard Caption Manager. “This will be Cheslee’s 4th summer as a member, and Megan’s 6th. Together, I am certain their experience and positive energy will help the SCV color guard push the bar to new heights!”
