We’re extremely excited to know that you’re interested in spending your summer as a member of our Vanguard Family! Whether it’s your first time auditioning or you’re hoping to return to the organization for another season, we are eager to welcome you. Your journey to excellence starts here, with just 3 easy steps!
Step 1: You will need to create a MySCV account (or login to your existing account) and fill out the 2019 audition questionnaire! Check the specific Vanguard program(s) in which you have an interest in pursuing, and from there, we will be sure to keep you updated with additional information. Don’t forget to update your profile with current contact information and an up to date photo!
Step 2: Now that you’re logged into MySCV and we know a little more about you, it’s time to RSVP for a 2019 Audition event! We offer both weekend and one-day auditions, each designed to bring you the full Vanguard Experience. At our weekend auditions, meals and housing are provided. Don’t forget to bring an air mattress, toiletries, and a towel! One-day auditions typically run from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and lunch is provided.
The cost to attend one of our weekend audition events is $175 when paying in advance, and $200 at the door. The cost to attend our one-day audition sessions in Orlando or Houston is $125 when paying in advance, and $150 at the door.

Step 3: Now that you’re all signed up for an audition, it’s time to start preparing. Brass music packets and color guard/percussion information are now available on our 2019 Membership Pages! Keep in mind that we’re looking for prospective members who are good movers and great players with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
