50 years, 5 decades, half a century – no matter how you look at it, it’s an incredibly huge milestone. That’s why we’re throwing a “Birthday Brunch” in celebration of our 50th birthday on the morning of Saturday, March 25 at the Vanguard Corps Hall! We hope you will come and join us in celebrating the Vanguard’s rich history with family, friends, and fellow alumni.
Doors will open at 9:30 AM for everyone to come mingle and reminisce with old and new friends at the Hall. Food service will begin at 10:00 AM and feature hearty brunch offerings and freshly prepared mimosas. Following the brunch at 11:00 AM will be an induction ceremony to recognize and honor the outstanding achievements of the Santa Clara Vanguard Hall of Fame inductees, along with a dazzling premier performance by the 2017 Santa Clara Vanguard and Vanguard Cadets. Doors will close at 1:00 PM.
Brunch menu will include:
- French toast with toppings
- Applewood bacon
- Breakfast sausage links
- Fluffy scrambled eggs
- Fresh cut fruit
- Coffee, tea, and juice
- Freshly prepared mimosas*
* Mimosas will be sold for $6 on the day of the event.
