On Sunday, August 7th the Vanguard Cadets celebrated their Age-Outs and individual award winners for the 2016 season. It was a wonderful evening of camaraderie and acknowledgement before the start of DCI Championships week and the conclusion of their 2016 season.
Please note that the award for “Gail Royer Memorial Vanguard Cadet of the Year” had unfortunately been left off of the list for that evening, and therefore was not announced until later. Many apologies to Jonny Strebe who deserved to receive the acknowledgement that evening. Please also note that in staying with the tradition of naming the awards after former esteemed directors of SCVC, the Most Inspirational Award is now the “Robert Ripley Most Inspirational Member”.
