Following this morning’s unfortunate news, we have been amazed by the outpouring of love and support from our drum corps community. To all the parents, alumni, and fans who have reached out with donations and have offered to help volunteer – thank you!
Rest assured that the corps will not miss a meal, due to the hard work and dedication of our outstanding admin staff and amazing team of volunteers. We are also incredibly grateful for the many amazing drum corps who have stepped up and offered to help in any way possible. Our friends at Phantom Regiment will be providing dinner at our housing site this evening, and the Blue Knights will be serving us snack from their food truck after tonight’s performance in Broken Arrow, OK. We cannot thank them enough for their support in this time of need.
FOR THOSE WHO ARE LOOKING TO HELP:
Last year, as part of our 50th Anniversary celebration we launched the “Building Our Future” Capital Campaign to help us raise money for a new, updated kitchen truck. Now more than ever, we would greatly appreciate any donations to help fund this purchase!

Another opportunity to help support our efforts on the road, is by making a donation to the 2018 SCV food fund. It is estimated that in the accident we lost over $5,000 worth of food and equipment, and a donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated as we begin replacing our inventory!

We will continue to provide updates as they come available, but in the meantime if you have any questions, please contact our Executive Director, Charles Frost, at cfrost@scvanguard.org.
