Michael Gaines joins Leadership Team as Interim Director of Program Operations for the Vanguard Music and Performing Arts
We are delighted to announce that Michael Gaines has accepted the position of Interim Director of Program Operations for the Vanguard Music and Performing Arts. Michael will be working with our Interim Co-Executive Directors, Jeremy Van Wert, and Michael Kovalich to build and execute operational plans that support the organization’s future.
While we would love to have our entire cast and crew back on board with operations humming along at our usual cadence, we must take into consideration the health and safety of all who support us: the staff, our 2020 members, volunteers, alumni, and our dedicated Bingo customers. It is imperative that we work toward a plan that will ensure the long-term viability of the organization. No decision is made lightly. We will move forward carefully, slowly, and in a fiscally responsible manner, respecting our donors, who give generously to help us continue the legacy of delivering quality programs for our performers and the communities we serve.
Lastly, in true Vanguard fashion, we will remain ethical in all that we do, working within the good graces of our local city and county officials, by complying with the laws and ordinances that make Santa Clara our beloved home.
