The Vanguard Alumni Association is pleased to announce the start of a major fundraising campaign to raise scholarship funds in support of all the performing ensembles of Vanguard Music and Performing Arts! The grand prize is a beautiful, limited-edition bronze sculpture created by 1984 SCV Alumni Danielle (Perkins) Ewanchuk.

Cast in bronze with multiple patinas and seated on a base of rich African Padauk, this sculpture is approximately 18” x 18” x 10” in size and depicts a graceful color guard member performing in the 2017 SCV Alumni Corps. The shield at the base is “ lifting” her up away from the foundation as a stepping stone to a higher level of excellence, just as Vanguard has done for so many members throughout history. Et Gaudium in gratia, Credemus! is engraved in the base which translates from Latin to “With grace and joy, we believe!”

Ticket packages must be purchased at the same time to receive a volume discount, and only one name will appear on each ticket. The winning ticket will be pulled at random at the Vanguard End-of-Season Banquet, held on August 11, 2019 at the JW Marriott in Downtown Indianapolis.

• Email alumni@scvanguard.org with your name and phone number. You will then be contacted by phone to process your order.
• Mail a check or money order made out to “Santa Clara Vanguard” to 1795 Space Park Drive, Santa Clara, CA 95054. Please include your name, email, telephone number, and the number of tickets you wish to purchase.
• Find us at the SCV Alumni Tent at DCI West, Pacific Procession, and other select shows across the country.
• Finals week we will have a booth set up at the SCV Headquarters Hotel (JW Marriott) on Friday, Saturday, and at the Banquet on Sunday morning

Phone and mail orders must be processed by August 1, 2019.
In person sales will end at the Vanguard Banquet prior to the drawing.

All proceeds from this raffle will benefit 2020 Members through the Alumni Scholarship fund!
