Meet The Leadership: 2017 Vanguard Cadets

May 19, 2017 | Uncategorized, News

At the center of every strong drum corps is a strong team of member leadership. Serving as a liaison between performers and staff, this team of veteran members also puts in the extra effort to lead by example and set a standard for the entire corps.

“This fine group of leaders with SCVC for 2017 will carry on a very proud tradition of stellar young men and women providing guidance and expertise to the rest of our membership,” said Steve Barnhill, Vanguard Cadets Corps Director. “They are the true embodiment of what it means to be ‘Santa Clara’ and I couldn’t be more proud of this group.”

It is our pleasure to introduce the 2017 Vanguard Cadets Leadership Team:

While in school, he is a member in the cymbal section of the Fresno State Bulldog Marching Band. This will be his second year in the Vanguard Cadets, but first year as Horn Sergeant. When he isn’t in class you can find Nick doing Photography and participating as a brother of Kappa Kappa Psi – National Honorary Band Fraternity.
