THE SANTA CLARA VANGUARD

The Santa Clara Vanguard Drum & Bugle Corps is a World Class performing ensemble and one of the founding groups of Drum Corps International (DCI). Formed in 1967, Santa Clara Vanguard (A-Corps) training and performance season runs from late-May to mid-August.

Each season, 165 young adults from around the world between the ages of 16 & 22 join SCV for an educational training program and cross-country tour. During our intensive Pre-Tour program, performers develop their technique and learn that year’s production with our world-class educators and designers. Then they embark on a tour, performing for audiences of thousands of people at events around the United States.
