Please plan to arrive with your own equipment \n\nDuring this audition\, you should be prepared to perform the following (visual materials can be found in the brass audition packet which you can access following purchase of this event):\n\n\nTechnical etude of your choice\nLyrical etude of your choice\nFull range chromatic scale\nDance audition\nMarching audition\n\n\n\nCampus Map and Parking: Below is a campus map for you to use to get to the music wing at West Ranch High School. Parking is available in the lot shown on the map \nCheck In and Warm Up: There is no check in upon arrival\, please have everything required of you taken care of ahead of time (liability form\, time slot selected\, etc) so that you can get the most out of your audition time. You can arrive up to 30 minutes before your assigned audition time and warm up in the jazz room. You should begin making your way to the band room for your audition 5 minutes before your scheduled time and await your turn \nYou should expect feedback and grades in the days following your audition.\n \n\n\nContract! The link to sign up for your time can be found in your email confirmation after you pay for this event. \n\nDuring this audition\, you should be prepared to perform the following:\n \n\nEquipment:\nTechnique (please demonstrate on each piece of equipment you can spin):\nSpins on both right and left sides\nStandard tosses (Flag – up to a double – 2 different 45 tosses of your choice; Weapons – up to 6’s or 7’s)\n1 minute of flag choreography (required of all)\n1 minute of weapon choreography (required of those auditioning for a weapon spot) \nMovement:\n“Across the floor” exercises\nGoing in and out of ground\nVariety of leaps and jumps\nTurns\n1 minute of dance choreography (required of all)\n\nEquipment tricks\, advanced movement skills\, or any other special talents you would like to show us!\n\n\nYou should expect feedback and grades in the days following your audition.\n \n\n\nContract!
