DESCRIPTION:Here is your opportunity to start your audition journey from the convenience of your home town! Review the following instructions for your video submission. The brass and visual materials can be found in the audition packet as well as the link to submit your video can be found in your email confirmation after you pay for this event. Packet and visual materials will be available on September 24th. \nThe deadline to submit your video in order to be considered for an invitation to our callback camp is December 6th. \n\nRecord and upload (unlisted) two YouTube videos including the following content:\n\nVideo 1 – Music\n\nPlease edit the following into one video:- Introduction – Share with us your marching experience and why you would like to march Vanguard! Please include your first and last name\, the instrument you’re auditioning on\, where you’re from\, what school you attend\, your major in college (if applicable)\, and your drum corps and/or related experience.- Technical etude of your choice- Lyrical etude of your choice- Chromatic scale (full range)\n\n\nVideo 2 – Visual:\nAll of the materials you will need for your visual audition are consolidated into the brass and visual audition packet.\n\nPlease edit into one video:- Your movement audition\,- 2 reps of your marching audition (once at tempo 144\, once at 180)….And any other special talents you would like to show us!\n\nYou should expect feedback and grades within the last week of each month (September-November) after paying for your audition fee and submitting your videos.\n \n\nContract! Parking is available in the lot shown on the map but please keep in mind that people will begin arriving later in the morning for our Sunday bingo matinee and parking may get pretty full!\n \nCheck In and Warm Up: There is no check in upon arrival\, please have everything required of you taken care of ahead of time (liability form\, time slot selected\, etc) so that you can get the most out of your audition time. You can arrive up to 30 minutes before your assigned audition time and warm up in the drum room (first room after entering the lobby).
