DESCRIPTION:UNT BLAST! Featuring seven-time DCI world champion Santa Clara Vanguard\nUniversity of North Texas (UNT) College of Music Wind Studies and Santa Clara Vanguard are excited to host a one-day educational marching event\, UNT Blast\, on Thursday\, July 18\, 2024 on the UNT campus. Participants are invited to campus for the day to learn\, rehearse\, and perform with the staff and members of Santa Clara Vanguard through a variety of sessions and events. \nParticipants will need to bring their own instrument. \nHigh school band students and directors are invited to experience the day individually or as a group. Discounts available for band directors bringing 10 or more students.* Tuition and fees include instruction\, t-shirt\, lunch and dinner\, and a ticket to the DCI show. \n*Band directors bringing a minimum of 10 students\, please email music.camps@unt.edu for a coupon code for your students to receive a $50 tuition discount. \nLocation\nEverything will be housed on UNT campus followed by the DCI Denton show at DATCU Stadium at UNT. \nRegistration Deadline\nJuly 1\, 2024 \nTuition & Fees\nTuition: $125\nNon-refundable registration fee: $25 \nRegistration & Refund Policies\nPayment is due in full at the time of registration. \nRefund information: Refunds requested by June 1\, 2024 will be honored less a processing fee ($2.9% of total paid + $0.30) and the $25 non-refundable application fee.
