"The Prelude"

Featuring Sergei Rachmaninoff's iconic and mesmerizing "Prelude in C Sharp Minor", the program travels back in time to the turn of the 20th century and the young composer’s Moscow debut where the audience’s passionate and emotional reaction to his performance launched a storied and distinguished career. Rachmaninoff's "Prelude" generated such a buzz that it became his most requested and published piece.
