Macys. Please stop by the
booth and help support our Winterguard. Members
and alumni will be working the booth.

| Jeff Pearson Announced as New Vanguard Director |
 |
The Santa Clara Vanguard is pleased to announce
that Jeff Pearson has accepted the position as the
Program Director/Vanguard Corps Director.
A note from Jeff Pearson:
I am excited about my new position
with the
Vanguard. Thank you to the friends, boosters and
alumni who called and sent messages of support and
congratulations. The response has been humbling. I
know that I have quite a job ahead of me and I am
aware of the magnitude of the task. As an alumni, I
also know that I have a great responsibility to
continue moving this Corps, and all of the programs
forward while maintaining a solid understanding of
what has come before.
I have had a chance to work with the Design
team
and they are attacking the design of the show as if
they had been working together for years. With the
leadership of Denise Bonfiglio, our Staff Coordinator,
we have established a world-class staff and are on
our way to a very successful season. At last week’s
audition camp, I met with the returning members who
were in attendance. Their talent, experience and
enthusiasm will lay a strong foundation for a great
season. My discussions with the staff, boosters,
alumni and members, make me confident that we
share a common vision for this season and the future
of the Vanguard. And the future looks very good!
Take care,
Jeff.
