Royer Circle
In memory of its legendary director, Gail Royer, the Santa Clara Vanguard is pleased to promote the Royer Circle. This honorary society pays homage to others who will follow Gail Royer's lead of generosity and dedication to the mission of Santa Clara Vanguard. Gail's life-long dreams were fulfilled through his leadership and collaboration with parents to establish Santa Clara Vanguard to benefit the young musicians of our region and the world. We hope that you too will consider leaving a legacy to Santa Clara Vanguard to make certain this very special music education program continues long into the future.
Royer Circle members are individuals who create estate plans that include Santa Clara Vanguard Booster Club as the beneficiary of bequests through their wills or revocable trusts. Other planned giving methods, including naming Santa Clara Vanguard as the beneficiary of a 401K, IRA or other retirement plan or life insurance policy, are encouraged and welcome.
If you have already made estate plans that include Santa Clara Vanguard, please notify us immediately so that we can make you a member of the Royer Circle. The only documentation we require is a copy of the pages from the legal documents or change of beneficiary forms that include Santa Clara Vanguard Booster Club. Individuals considering more advanced planned giving vehicles such as charitable remainder trusts, gifts of real estate or other personal property are encouraged to contact Jeff Fiedler, Chief Executive Officer of Santa Clara Vanguard, to discuss your plans or wishes.
If you have not considered a planned gift to Santa Clara Vanguard, we ask that you consider leaving a lasting legacy through your will or trust, to live on long after you are gone. Estate gifts are generally invested as unrestricted endowment funds, unless you specify a restricted use for your gift.
To include us in your will or trust you will need to include the following suggested language:
"I (name) of (city, state ZIP), give, devise and bequeath to Santa Clara Vanguard Booster Club (written amount of percentage of the estate or description of property) for its unrestricted use and purpose."
