Start the fall season with a round of golf to benefit the Santa Clara Vanguard on Tuesday afternoon, September 22 at the Spring Valley Course in Milpitas. Everyone is welcome to spend the afternoon enjoying old friends and making new ones while we benefit the Santa Clara Vanguard youth programs of music, color guard and dance. This year's first activity to benefit from the golf tourney is the 2009 World Champion Vanguard Winter Guard. Let's help them win a second gold medal by participating in this great fund-raiser!

Step up to the tee, give it your best shot and you could go home the winner of a brand-new BMW 328i! There are four "Hole-in-One" prize holes giving you a chance to win: Brand New BMW 328i Sharp LCD Flat Panel TV Callaway Big Bertha Iron Set 2 Roundtrip Domestic Airline Tickets

Quarter-Million-Dollar Shootout

One lucky golfer will be chosen by a random draw and will have one (1) chance for a Hole-In-One for $250,000.

The Vanguard Golf Classic will commence at 11:30am with registration. The first foursome will tee off at 12:00pm with dinner and awards following at 5:30pm.

Tournament registration is $150 per golfer. Dinner-only tickets are also available to any non-golfers for $45 per person.

The registration fee for each golfer includes:

• 18 holes of scramble "Best-Ball" golf including cart
• Dinner
• Prize holes, including a chance to win a BMW 328i
• Goodie bag
• Access to the practice range beforehand

At the conclusion of the tournament, the Spring Valley Restaurant will host the dinner, awards ceremony, and additional raffles. This promises to be a fun-filled afternoon for all!
