About Children's Adventures in Movement
Children's Adventures in Movement (CAM) began in September 2001 as a creative dance outreach program serving the Santa Clara and surrounding communities. While teaching your child proper dance technique and terminology, we also offer an alternative to other dance classes by allowing for freedom of expression in all of our classes. We do this by incorporating a creative structure into the lessons. From Ballet and Tap, to Modern Ballet, Hip-Hop/Jazz, Choreography, and Flag/Dance, your child is encouraged to express his or her own thoughts toward movement, and incorporate them into the dances. In this way, children become problem solvers at the same time they get physical and fun activity, building coordination, strength, and combining the mind, body and spirit into a total movement experience!
All classes are age appropriate for toddlers through teens, and are open to boys and girls. Classes take place at 1795 Space Park Drive in Santa Clara, in two large studios. Please see inside for details.
