The Santa Clara Vanguard is proud to announce the return of Mike McCool as Program Coordinator for the 2006 Season. Mike performed this role for the corps in the late 90's, having significant impact on the corps' success with third, second, and first place finishes from 1997-1999. Mike's innate sense of music and design, along with his wit, has been instrumental in the pageantry world nationwide. His extensive musical and visual background includes designing for cutting edge color guards, bands, and drum corps including Clovis West, James Logan, San Jose Raiders, Velvet Knights and Anaheim Kingsmen among others.
Mike began his drum corps career in Anaheim in 1973, moved to northern California in 1986, and currently resides in Roswell, New Mexico with his wife Linda and dog Maggie.
