FINAL Summer Guard Auditions for SCV 2012

The 2012 Santa Clara Vanguard summer color guard will be holding call-backs and final auditions on May 4-6 at Woodside HS in Redwood City, CA.
For the fourth year, the summer color guard is under the caption supervision of Jennifer Leseth. Guard designers include Greg Lagola, Rick Subel and John Escalante.
Prospective members interested in performing 'Music of the Starry Night' should study the 2012 Membership Info on the website, quickly complete the audition questionnaire and send SCV an e-mail with your interest. Contact Acorps@scvanguard.org with questions or for specific information. Please place the word SUMMER GUARD in the subject area of the e-mail.
Submit for a MySCV account and answer the audition questionnaire (see 2012 Membership Info in the upper left-hand index on the Vanguard page) and we'll immediately send you a 2012 Prospective Membership brochure in the mail.
By completing the audition questionnaire you will also be creating a MySCV account, which will allow you to RSVP for the May 4-6 camp, as well as allow you to pay the audition fee of $125. You can also create a shuttle request for your arrival on Friday, May 4, should you arrive at the San Jose or San Francisco airport or San Jose Amtrak or Greyhound stations.
The corps begins its 'Move-In' to Northern California on Sunday, May 20 at Independence High School in San Jose. Prospective members will be judged on their movement skills, as well as their talent on specific color guard equipment. The ability to attend the early pre-tour move-in, as well as their general disposition and having resources to pay the summer fee of $2250 will also be part of the consideration.
