Forty-Fifth Anniversary Celebrated at Santa Clara High School

Celebrating their forty-fifth year of continuous performance, Santa Clara Vanguard is pleased to announce the return of Pacific Procession, a Drum Corps International 2012 Tour Event on Tuesday, June 26 at 6:00PM. The event will be hosted at Santa Clara High School and will be the first drum corps event in more than a decade in the city of Santa Clara.

This DCI 2012 Tour Event will be the final performance of a four-event series in Northern California revolving around the premier West Coast event, the DCI West Championship in Stanford Stadium on Saturday evening, June 23. Two additional events, in Clovis, CA on Friday, June 22 and at CSU-Sacramento on Sunday, June 24, complete the Northern California portion of the four event 2012 DCI Tour. Tickets for Pacific Procession are currently available at Vanguard Hall in Santa Clara and are available online at DCI.org/tickets.

Pacific Procession will feature a continuation of the friendly rivalry between six-time World Champion Vanguard and two-time World Champion Phantom Regiment of Rockford, IL. The event will also feature the visiting Boston Crusaders and fellow World Class California neighbor Pacific Crest Drum & Bugle Corps of Diamond Bar, CA. Also competing will be the two-time Open Class World Champion Vanguard Cadets and three-time Open Class Champion Blue Devil “B” Drum & Bugle Corps from Concord, CA.

The entire event is General Admission seating ($20 through June 25). Ticket prices will raise $5 on the day of the event. Tickets are available through the corps' website, as well as during regular weekday business hours at the Vanguard Corps Hall, 1795 Space Park Drive in Santa Clara (408)-727-5532.

The stadium's first row of starts approximately four feet above the field level and features wheel chair accessible seating in the center of the bleachers.
