2013 Winter Guard Second Audition Date/Location
Free Audition For Recent CCGC and NCBA '10 & '11 Grads

The two-time World Champion Santa Clara Vanguard Winter Guard will host a second audition for the 2013 winter season on Saturday, October 13 from Noon to 6PM and on Sunday, October 14, 10AM to 2PM:

Registration/Check-In begins at 11:30AM on Saturday, October 13.
Prospective members who are 2011 or 2012 high school graduates of California Color Guard Circuit (CCGC-Bay Area) or Northern California Band Association (NCBA) color guards will be offered a free audition, as long as they RSVP for the September weekend by creating a MySCV account, fill out a Questionnaire and RSVP/Sign-up for the event. All other attendees will be charged a one-time, $25 registration fee. Current high school juniors and seniors who attend CCGC or NCBA schools with winter color guard programs are not eligible to audition.
The weekend will also serve as a call-back for prospective members who auditioned on September 22-23 will take place on October 13-14 (same times) for those prospective members asked to return, as well as the final audition opportunity for anyone interested being a member of the 2013 SCV Winter Guard, but may have been unable to attend the September 22-23 audition.

Prospective members of the Vanguard world guard must be in good standing with any winter or summer color guard program in which they've previously participated. Membership in the Vanguard or Vanguard Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps is not a prerequisite to audition or become a member of the winter guard program.
The 2013 SCV Winter Guard program is under the direction of Denise Bonfiglio. Designers Jon Vanderkolff, Carol Abohatab, Jim Moore, Greg Lagola and Wayne Harris will again share the creative responsibilities for the program. All rehearsals are held in and around the Santa Clara/San Jose area. More information about the SCV Winter Guard program will be shared with prospective members who contact SCV to express their interest.
